Starkey is an American owned and operated hearing technology company based in Eden Prairie, MN. However, we are also an international company, operating 22 facilities and conducting business in more than 100 markets worldwide. With 3,500 employees around the world, Starkey is uniquely positioned to deliver the best hearing aid technology to people who need it.

Outreach missions all over the world, all year long.

Mission trips are ongoing. In 2008 alone, Starkey Hearing Foundation sponsored International Hearing Missions to countries like Egypt, Malawi, Botswana, Mozambique and many more. Over and over again, our mission volunteers are rewarded with the smile on a child's face as he or she hears for the first time.

Foundation expands Starkey's mission.

We take our leadership role seriously. Founded in 1973, Starkey Hearing Foundation funds our worldwide outreach mission, So The World May Hear! Since 2000, we have distributed more than 338,595 hearing instruments around the world to people in need. In the United States, the Foundation's non-profit program Hear Now assists permanent U.S. residents who are deaf or hard-of-hearing and have limited financial resources. Starkey founder, Bill Austin, is an enthusiastic advocate for hearing-impaired children, personally fitting thousands of hearing aids each year.
