Service and Support

You may find that, even with proper care and maintenance, your hearing instruments may need servicing from time to time. Foreign material such as earwax may build up inside the units, or your hearing may change, requiring an adjustment to either instrument.

Hearing instruments are delicate objects. If you should discover a problem with your hearing instrument, don’t try to fix it yourself. Not only does this violate any warranties or insurance you might have, it could easily cause further damage.

If your instruments fail or perform unsatisfactorily, first check the basic troubleshooting guide for possible solutions. If problems persist, contact your hearing professional. Even if you’re away from home, most professionals are ready and willing to help, and many problems can be solved right in the office.
