StarKids Program

Helping kids understand what’s happening to them when they need hearing care is important. That's why Starkey created the StarKids program—a unique program created just for hearing-impaired kids and their families. StarKids speaks directly to kids to help them cope with their loss and their new hearing aids via a comprehensive package of educational and incentive materials.

This innovative program begins with a pre-evaluation video that develops awareness and explains how amplification can help improve hearing. Parents find the Children’s Hearing Handbook to be a thorough, yet easy-to-understand guide for all aspects of their child’s hearing situation.

Once a child is fitted with hearing aids, the StarKids program provides families with an aural rehabilitation package that includes a post-fitting video, parents’ and children's operations guides, a StarKids warranty card and colourable poster. Expedited service is provided for audiologists serving registered StarKids members to help ensure that interruptions for instrument repair are minimised.
